James Franco to Star as Aron Ralston in Danny Boyle's 127 Hours

James Franco is set to play Aron Ralston in Danny Boyle’s next film 127 HOURS. Filming is scheduled to start in March. For those of you that don’t know who Aron Ralston is;

“Aron Ralston is an American mountain climber who became famous in May 2003 when he was forced to amputate his lower right arm with a dull knife in order to free himself after his arm became trapped by a boulder when he was mountaineering in Utah.” – Wikipedia

Danny Boyle is probably still riding high after SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE, so this will be an interesting project for him. I’m not 100% familiar with Ralston’s story, but I would presume that most of these 127 hours will take place with his right arm under a boulder. I’ll be very interested on how Boyle will make that interesting for 90 minutes.
