Former porn star Linda Lovelace getting her own movie biopic

I have to admit that I’m not as familiar enough with the world of porn stars as some might be. But I do know who Linda Lovelace is, only because she was the star of the single most successful movie of all time DEEP THROAT. The film INSIDE DEEP THROAT tells a decent story of the film’s success, but one thing it didn’t cover in enough detail was the transformation of its star, Ms. Lovelace. Well, producers Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman are going to do just that as they chronicle her life using three separate interviews with her over (presumably) three decades.

Her story is interesting because she started as the most famous porn star of her generation but now she’s a hardcore feminist (as Linda Marchiano) and has taken a strong stand against porn and the porn industry. It will be great to see how Epstein and Friedman portray her in the film and I hope they can find a very recent interview (she died in 2002) from her for their film.

UPDATE #1: Looks like Lindsay Lohan is set to play Linda in the film INFERNO.

UPDATE #2: Well, now it looks like Lindsay Lohan can’t stay sober long enough and now she’s been kicked off INVERNO.
