Night At The Museum 3 is already going forward

Like it or not, Ben Stiller and the loveable, historical characters are coming back in NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 3. I’m going to bet $1 right now that the title will eventually have a “D” on the end as no one can pass up the opportunity to make a third film in 3D. I think another sequel was already a given, but this is as close to confirmation as we’ve had so far. To be fair, I thought NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 2 was pretty decent.

During an interview in Los Angeles with Access Hollywood, co-writer Thomas Lennon said in a very sarcastic fashion:

“I wonder if someone’s not even already working on a script for that. I cannot confirm that for a fact, but I cannot deny it for a fact either… It might be in the works.”

Okay, reading the quote again makes it sound like he’s not saying anything, but I guess you have to picture Lennon actually saying it to understand he’s trying to tell you he’s writing the script. Lennon was in 17 AGAIN, but some of you old school MTV fans probably remember him from the short lived show ‘The State’.
