Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman throw a Change Up

Is there a more in-demand actor in Hollywood these days than Ryan Reynolds? Marvel is still crying about a Deadpool movie, he’s starring as THE GREEN LANTERN and he just singed on to do voice work in THE CROODS. Today, we learn that he’s going back to his comedic roots in the comedy CHANGE-UP. Ryan will star with Jason Bateman in the film written by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, who wrote THE HANGOVER. David Dobkin will direct.

The film is about a straight-laced family man (Bateman) that switches bodies with a lazy slacker (Reynolds). Yes, you read that right; this is a body-swap movie. As cool as this duo sounds, and as much as I loved THE HANGOVER, I have to say that I’m sick of body-swap movies. But to be fair, we haven’t seen an R-rated body-swap movie in a while and if given the right material, Bateman and Reynolds could knock this change-up out of the park. Okay…sorry about that.
