Stephen Dorff joins Mickey Rourke and Kellan Lutz in War of Gods

I should have gone on record as predicting this, but as the casting and story for WAR OF GODS became more apparent, I actually said that this is shaping up to be something Stephen Dorff would star in. And by that I mean that it might be good, but it will probably be very average. Dorff joins the film that will see a young warrior team up with “good” Gods to battle “evil” Gods, who have sided with an evil king. The film stars Henry Cavill as the young warrior, Freida Pinto as Phaedra, Mickey Rourke as the evil king and Kellan Lutz as Poseidon. Tarsem Singh is directing with shooting scheduled to start in April.

The real question might be whether or not the title is “War of the Gods” or “War of Gods”. I’ve seen it written both ways and IMDB lists both titles as acceptable. Of course, they also still list “Dawn of War” as an acceptable title.
