Stephenie Meyer announces Bree, will Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart be in the movie?

This technically isn’t movie news, but it more than likely will be some day. But Stephenie Meyer, author of the Twilight novels, finally announced through Little, Brown Books for Young Readers that her follow-up the Twilight series will be ‘The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner: An Eclipse Novella’. Now, some of you may be wondering who Bree Tanner is and as it turns out, I know someone that has read the books, so I can tell you that in the upcoming THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, Victoria (the fiery redhead that wants to kill Bella) turns Bree into a vamp to help her with her revenge. So basically, what Meyer has done here is taken a small, bit character from one of her Twilight books and dedicated an entire book to her. I’d be angry if I wasn’t so impressed. I don’t think very highly of Meyer’s writing ability, but you have to hand it to her money-generating ability. If Bree is successful, there’s no end to how many of these novellas we could get.

But the real question is whether or not they’ll be able to get Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart to do cameos in the eventual movie. True, no formal announcement has been made about a movie, but Summit Entertainment isn’t going to let this slip through their fingers.
