Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in new promo images for Twilight: Eclipse

There are a few minor news bits to report today on the TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE front. First, Summit Entertainment has done some work to the new Eclipse website, which now features the new trailer and all the official images from the film. It’s a pretty nice website, but I think Kristen Stewart is too predominant, even more so than her co-stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. But the next bit of news that may be of more interest to you is that three promotional images from the film leaked online a couple of days ago. Most outlets are calling these “posters”, but I’m pretty sure they’re early images of the new TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE action figures from NECA. You can even see “NECA” in the bottom right corner. NECA is the company that makes the figures, in case you didn’t know.

The images, of course, are unofficial until someone from Summit or NECA releases them officially, but if you’re collecting the figures (and I know you are), at least now you know what to expect. No word yet on whether they’ll make likenesses of other Twilight stars such as Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene or Jackson Rathbone. TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE opens everywhere on June 30th.
