Kevin Durand reteams with Hugh Jackman in Real Steel

It looks like Hugh Jackman and Kevin Durand didn’t get enough of beating each other up in a boxing ring as the two actors will be starring in the robot-boxing film REAL STEEL. However, they probably won’t be fighting each other this time around because Durand will be playing a Texan boxing promoter in the film. Although you never know who’s going to fight each other when it comes to boxing…and Hollywood. It’s hard to imagine Kevin Durand as anything but a villain, but he plays the villainous role exceptionally well.
Shawn Levy is directing the futuristic sports movie in which a former boxer (Jackman) turned manager reunites with his son. Together, they take a fighter to the championship. I’m still not sold on this premise as it’s hard to get emotionally involved in mindless robots, but I’m definitely intrigued by the storyline.
