Robert DeNiro joins Jason Statham and Clive Owen in Killer Elite

Robert DeNiro has been confirmed in joining the cast of KILLER ELITE, which began film last week. DeNiro joins Jason Statham and Clive Owen in the film directed by Garry McKendry. Statham will be the lead in the action thriller as a former Navy Seal who is being blackmailed to kill in order to save his friend and mentor played by DeNiro. The story is based on real events from Ranulph Fiennes’ best-seller “The Featherman” about former British special forces members being hunted by assassins.
The rest of the cast includes: Ben Mendelsohn (ANIMAL KINGDOM), Lachy Hulme (MACBETH), Aden Young (MAO’S LAST DANCER), Firass Dirani (THE BLACK BALOON), Dominic Purcell (PRISON BREAK), Yvonne Strahovski (CHUCK)
