Stephen Graham joins Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz in Pirates of the Caribbean 4

Johnny Depp’s Jack Sparrow has a sidekick in the upcoming PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES.  That sidekick, named ‘Scram’, will be played by Stephen Graham who will be reuniting with Johnny Depp after they worked together on PUBLIC ENEMIES.  He joins the cast that includes the aforementioned Depp, Penelope Cruz, Ian McShane, Sam Claflin, and Astrid Berges-Frisby.  We still don’t know much about the plot other than the fact that Jack Sparrow is on a search for the fountain of youth.

I still find it a little surreal that they’re continuing this franchise, even though I’ve posted several news articles about it already.  But I like the casting decisions so far and Johnny Depp seems to be excited to return to his favorite character.
