Chace Crawford joins Catherine Keener and Jane Fonda in Peace, Love, & Misunderstanding

Chase Crawford has joined the cast of PEACE, LOVE, & MISUNDERSTANDING. The film is to be directed by Bruce Beresford (DRIVING MISS DAISY) and will also star Catherine Keener and Jane Fonda. After escaping from her newly separated husband, Diane (Keener) an uptight New York Lawyer, and her two children are surrounded by some free thinking, like-minded hippies at her mothers (Fonda). The difference in lifestyles brings the tension amongst the family front and center where they presumably learn peace and love among their misunderstandings.
There seems to be some definite talent attached to the project. My fear is that it may try a little too hard in its sappy drama to achieve that award winning status. However, as a love interest for the daughter, this should be a good role for Gossip Girl’s Crawford.
