Charlie Sheen looking to do another Major League sequel

As Sylvester Stallone has pulled all of his 80’s franchises from the rubble, I’ve often wondered why more 80’s stars aren’t doing he same type of thing to resurrect their movie careers. One such name that comes to mind is Charlie Sheen, but at the same time the guy makes a ton of money from his show ‘Two and a Half Men’, so I guess going through the effort of reviving a franchise is not worth it for him. But in the case of MAJOR LEAGUE, writer/director David S. Ward is going to do all the work for him. Supposedly, Ward and Sheen have talked and they’re excited to do another film, with Wild Thing coming out of retirement to help out a young rookie.
He goes on to say he wants Tom Berenger, Corbin Bernsen and Wesley Snipes to reprise their roles as well. It’s probably a good thing he’s waited so long to broach the idea of a three-quel (you can’t count Back to the Minors) because the careers of all these guys could use a pick me up.
