Sandra Vergara joins Colin Farrell and Christopher Mintz-Plasse in Fright Night

It seems the only thing Sandra Vergara is known for is being the sister of the beautiful Sofia Vergara, who stars in the TV show ‘Modern Family’. But she’s getting her big break in the upcoming FRIGHT NIGHT remake. Her sister is incredibly beautiful, so if she can harness some of that same sex appeal, she should be fine. In the film, she’ll be playing the girlfriend and assistant to a magician played by David Tennant. She also eventually joins forces with Anton Yelchin, who is convinced his neighbor is a vampire. The film stars Colin Farrell, David Tennant, Anton Yelchin, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Toni Collette. Craig Gillespie is directing the remake, which is scheduled to be released in October, 2011.
It’s hard to get excited for remakes these days, but I’m interested to see what Colin Farrell does with the role. Other than that, nothing about this seems to really grab my attention.
