Sam Worthington to star in Man on a Ledge for director Asger Leth

Sam Worthington continues his world domination by linking himself with another in-development project, this time with the thriller MAN ON A LEDGE. This comes hot off the heels of his official confirmation to star as the futuristic pilot DAN DARE. In Ledge, Worthington will play a former police officer threatening to jump to his death and the female psychologist trying to save him. The story sounds a little claustrophobic, but I’m guessing that there’s a deeper reason why he’s on the ledge and the mystery will be unraveled as the story goes on.
Asger Leth is looking to direct the film, who directed the documentary GHOSTS OF CITE SOLEIL which took a powerful look at the slums of Haiti. Going from a documentary to such a simple thriller seems like an odd move, but Ledge is going to need a unique vision so this doesn’t turn into PHONE BOOTH.
