Richard Lewis joins Alicia Silverstone and Krysten Ritter in Vamps

‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ is one of the best comedies on television and the seventh season was arguably the best. But my one constant complaint about the show is Richard Lewis. I think he’s a love-him or hate-him type of comedian and I’m just one of those guys that doesn’t like him. His neurosis and mannerisms drive me insane. But hey, don’t let that dissuade you from checking him out in the upcoming VAMPS, where he’ll be playing a former activist and current ACLU lawyer in the romantic horror comedy.

He joins the film that already includes Alicia Silverstone and Krysten Ritter and NYC socialite vampires that fall in love with human guys. Sigourney Weaver will play the head vampire that sired them. Alicia Silverstone will be reteaming with her CLUELESS director, Amy Heckerling, who also wrote the screenplay. Vampire movies have run their course, so I hope Heckerling adds something new and exciting to this story.
