Henry Cavill to topline The Cold Light of Day

You can add Showtime’s ‘The Tudors’ to the list of shows I haven’t seen, but still want to. I’ve heard great things about it and a lot of praise is given to Henry Cavill, who plays Charles Brandon on the show. Cavill’s career is taking off after starring as Theseus in IMMORTALS and now securing the lead role in THE COLD LIGHT OF DAY. The film is about a cocky Wall Street stock broker that goes on a vacation with his family, only to see them get kidnapped. That leads to a series of twists and conspiracies that Cavill’s character has to figure out in order to save his family.

The film will be directed by Mabrouk El Mechri, who directed the wonderful JCVD. The look and feel to that film was incredible, so if El Mechri can repeat that in this film, it should do well for both him and Henry Cavill.
