New images of Captain America on set

Now that all of the casting announcements have been made for the much anticipated CAPTAIN AMERICA, it’s about time we start seeing some spy photos from the set. In these pictures, we see a stunt double taking the place of Chris Evans as Captain America, speeding through the countryside while being chased by H.Y.D.R.A. agents. It’s actually a pretty good shot, but it obviously would be cooler if it was actually Chris Evans on the bike and not some random stunt double. Even the H.Y.D.R.A. agents look good. Joe Johnston hasn’t wowed me with his previous films (WOLFMAN was just hard to get through), but I continue to have faith in this.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER stars Chris Evans, Hayley Atwell, Tommy Lee Jones, Sebastian Stan, Hugo Weaving, Dominic Cooper, Toby Jones, Stanley Tucci and Neal McDonough. The Joe Johnston directed film hits theaters on July 22nd, 2011.
