Malin Akerman joins Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd in Wanderlust

When this film was first announced, I went on a little diatribe about how unfunny David Wain is, so I’ll spare you a rehash of my rant. But he seems to be assembling a decent cast for his next film, WANDERLUST. Joining Jennifer Aniston, Paul Rudd and Justin Theroux is Malin Akerman. We still don’t have any plot details, only that Rudd and Aniston are a married couple that want to escape the hustle and bustle of New York City and end up living in a commune.
Again, my problem with the film is that this idea has been done before and there’s only so many rich-girl-in-the-country gags you can fit into one film. It most recently failed with DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THE MORGANS?, which was just terrible. So even though I just defended Jennifer Aniston, I’m not sure this is going to prove any of her critics wrong.
