Jennifer Garner and Jeremy Renner seek Better Living Through Chemistry

Jeremy Renner is piling on the projects these days. So far, he has THE AVENGERS, MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 4, HANSEL AND GRETEL: WITCH HUNTERS and now he and Jennifer Garner are looking to star in BETTER LIVING THROUGH CHEMISTRY. His latest project is about a pharmacist (Renner) stuck in a bad marriage that spices things up by having an affair with a trophy wife (Garner). She gets him hooked on prescription drugs and together, they hatch a plan to kill the woman’s husband. That sounds like fun for the whole family…or not. Screenwriters Geoff Moore and David Posamentier will be directing the film.

So let’s see, that’s superhero, spy, supernatural and now a dramatic thriller for Renner. At least he’s keeping things fresh and not doing the same type of films over and over. But is it just me, or does the synopsis for this film sound more like a comedy? Two people taking prescription drugs and then trying to kill someone sounds more like a black comedy to me.
