Sylvester Stallone brings The Expendables to Blu-ray

Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced that THE EXPENDABLES, starring Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren and Mickey Rourke, will be available on November 23, 2010 in a BD/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack. The film follows a team of ex-military members turned mercenaries who, in this instance, go to South America to take down a dictator. It’s like THE A-TEAM, but not cool at all. The film also had cameos from Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis which was the best part of this entire movie. I personally hated this film but apparently it was good enough to merit a sequel, so good for you Sly. On a side note, this film did mark the return of Charisma Carpenter who played Cordelia in BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER. It looks like you can always find a positive in a sea of negative.
