Leonardo DiCaprio is bringing Inception to Blu-ray in December

Warner Home Video has announced that they will be releasing the summer hit INCEPTION, directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Ellen Page, on December 7, 2010. The film will be available in a BD/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack, and starting November 15th, consumers will be able to “receive exclusive, never-before-seen Inception content on their camera-enabled mobile devices via Inception Snap Tags that will be placed on various Inception advertising materials.” You may remember that part of the promotion of the film was hiding images and movie promos in barcode-like pictures, so this feature will play on that. This content will be available on a weekly basis until the final release on December 7th, which will somehow tie into the BD/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack. I’m not usually into all of this extra stuff studios do to promote films, but INCEPTION was so incredible it might be cool to be a part of this special BD release.
