Abigail Breslin joins Lea Michele for New Year's Eve

Abigail Breslin is looking to join director Garry Marshall’s massive ensemble film NEW YEAR’S EVE. Last month we reported Glee’s Lea Michele would star in the romantic comedy. As you know Marshall’s first installment VALENTINE’S DAY starred a plethora of famous people including Ashton Kutcher, Taylor Lautner, Taylor Swift, Julia Roberts, Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Garner.
14-year-old Breslin has been in a slew of great films starting with the terrifically scary SIGNS, then the genuinely sweet Oscar nominated LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE and then to last year’s wildly fun ZOMBIELAND. NEW YEAR’S EVE will follow another group of lives played by more famous people trying to navigate their love life in New York during the title holiday. New Line has a November 9, 2011 release date.
