Aaron Eckhart will star in The Expatriate

Aaron Eckhart will play an ex-CIA agent in the upcoming film THE EXPATRIATE, directed by Philipp Stolzl (known for NORTH FACE and the music video “Du Hast” by Rammstein) and written by A.E. Amel. The story follows an ex-CIA agent (Eckhart) who moves himself and daughter to Belgium in order to become better acquainted with each other. There he discovers the corporation that he has started working for is behind a conspiracy that want him and his family dead. As dad and daughter go on the run they must learn to trust each other to stay alive. No other casting news has been announced and production should start in Europe and Canada in early 2011.
Aaron Eckhart is really making a name for himself in past years by taking roles in THE DARK KNIGHT and LOVE HAPPENS. Look for him to star alongside Nicole Kidman in the upcoming drama RABBIT HOLE.
