New photo from Cars 2 with the voices of Owen Wilson and Larry the Cable Guy

Owen Wilson and Larry the Cable Guy are back as Lightning McQueen and Mater, two of the biggest four wheeled stars from the Pixar film CARS. Below is a new shot from their upcoming film CARS 2, in it we see our two stars running from enemies (or running with their friends?). All we really know about the plot is that McQueen and Mater are secret agents of some sort. The film is set to hit theaters June 24, 2011 and will probably again voice the talents of Bonnie Hunt and Cheech Marin

CARS was a cute film and honestly if it wasn’t for my nephew liking it so much I would probably know much less about the characters because it’s not one of my favorite Pixar films. I will say this, Disney has made a killing selling those little Cars figures and I have spent many a Saturday in search of the latest shipment. For all those parents who have done the same, I’m sorry but it looks like we’re getting ready to start all over again.
