Set photos from Dredd starring Karl Urban

Last month we showed you a picture of Karl Urban as Judge Dredd in the upcoming reboot DREDD, and today we have some new set pictures. Here we get a small view of what the world would look like if there were cops running around who were the judge, jury and executioners of criminals. As you may well remember, Sylvester Stallone was the original Judge Dredd in the 1980’s and the reboot will star Karl Urban who previously appeared in RED, STAR TREK and THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE TWO TOWERS and THE RETURN OF THE KING.

Is it just me, or is Karl Urban regressing a little in his choice of roles? I know there are some huge Judge Dredd fans (mostly because of the comic books) but one failed attempt on the big screen should be enough for this character. Maybe I’ll be proven wrong and this film will be awesome, which I’d be fine with.
