Shia LaBeouf and Tom Hardy will team up for The Promised Land

Just seeing those two names together in one movie sends chills up the spine. It’s been reported that Tom Hardy will be joining the film THE PROMISED LAND, which Shia LaBeouf was already attached to star in, about three bootlegging brothers during the time of Prohibition. This film will be directed by John Hillcoat and was widely talked about last year when it had several big names attached (like Amy Adams, Ryan Gosling and Scarlett Johansson) but none of these stars are still in the mix due to the delay. Word is the film will be told from the youngest brother’s (LaBeouf) perspective as he follows his two older and wilder brothers around in the business but doesn’t enjoy the violence and intoxication as much as his siblings. The film has been picked up by an indie financier and will begin shooting this coming spring.

There are still a few other roles that need to be cast but if they can gather anyone to match Hardy and LaBeouf this will be quite the film to watch.
