After much anticipation, the trailer for the upcoming film WATER FOR ELEPHANTS, starring Robert Pattinson, Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz, is finally here. The story follows a young veterinary student who joins a circus as their vet when his parents die. The film is directed by Francis Lawrence and hits theaters April 15, 2011.
I have to admit that this looks pretty good and much better than I anticipated. I know the story is based on a popular book, so hopefully fans won’t be too disappointed by the film version. Robert Pattinson may just be able to break out of the TWILIGHT typecasting yet. This film doesn’t look like he’s brooding over any girl at all, which quite frankly is nice to see. Maybe this film combined with his role in BEL AMI will set him up for more post vampire films. Keep your fingers crossed ladies. Watch the trailer below.
