Vin Diesel gives some details about next Riddick film

I think it’s safe so say that until recently Vin Diesel fell out of popularity for a couple of years. He was supposed to be the next big action star after his turns in THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS and PITCH BLACK, but he really just never got to that next level. If you are thinking that you’ve seen a lot of him lately, it’s because he’s still riding on the three franchises that made him famous-and not doing anything new. Most recently, he has posted a few teasers on his Facebook Fan Page about the next installment in the Riddick franchise, which may be called RIDDICK RETURNS (although that’s not confirmed so don’t hold me to that). Here is what he says:

So the director of Riddick, my partner on COR [Chronicles of Riddick] since the beginning, DT [director David Twohy]… has a new challenge in store. He wants me to have 3 different body looks for this next chapter… There is the DiNorscio type, the Dom type, and the lean Furyan type… but all in the same movie, haha… When it comes to art, we all like a challenge.

The character type references are to his three films: CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK, FIND ME GUILTY and THE FAST AND FURIOUS. He also included the picture below, which is probably not a film promo but just some cool artwork. So there you go, a little sneak peek at what Mr. Diesel is working on, just add that to the ever growing sequel list that includes the upcoming FAST FIVE and XXX:THE RETURN OF XANDER CAGE.
