So after all the talk, excitement, outrage and mixed emotions about rebooting the Spidey franchise so early, we finally have our first set photos of the new SPIDER-MAN film. In the pictures, we see Peter Parker and Gwen Stacey hanging out on some bleachers and then out of nowhere, Parker lays a wet one on Stacey. Or maybe it’s not out of nowhere, I don’t know. What’s up with those gloves Parker? I don’t want my action heroes wearing gloves with the fingers cut out that look like their grandma knitted them. I understand you have to keep your disguise as a dork, but that’s taking it too far. And where are the glasses? Ugghhh.
This new SPIDER-MAN, which I don’t think even has a title yet, stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Martin Sheen, Rhys Ifans, Sally Field, Dennis Leary, Campbell Scott and Annie Parisse. Marc Webb is handling directing duties.
