Anne Hathaway will guest star on Glee as Chris Colfer's aunt

Normally we don’t post television news because we’re bigger movie fans than television fans, but since I adore GLEE and Anne Hathaway (LOVE AND OTHER DRUGS) I had to make an exception. During the Golden Globes Hathaway approached Ryan Murphy (creator of GLEE) and told him she wanted to be on the show, she had a character already developed and she already had songs she wanted to sing. Since you can’t turn down a juggernaut like Hathaway who is rising quickly in Hollywood, Murphy of course said yes. So apparently a deal has been set for Hathaway to play the long lost lesbian aunt of Kurt (played by Chris Colfer) who shows up to help him through his awkward times.
No word on when this story will take place, but it will probably be next season or even the next. Chris Colfer and Jane Lynch both took home Golden Globes on Sunday as did GLEE for Best Comedy or Musical.
