I feel a little bad for the Spidey reboot. After all the photos leaked online of Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone on set, the filmmakers did the right thing and released the first image from the Spider-man reboot and it looked pretty great. Fans were worried and then after seeing that photo, most people seemed to simmer down. Now we have another set photo and unless taken in the right context, people are going to go crazy. It’s important to keep in mind that the photo below is a stunt costume and will more than likely be unrecognizable in the film. But as stuntmen are running through town, jumping over obstacles and swinging from buildings, they need something more comfortable. I really don’t think the Spider-man in the film will be wearing Nikes.

The untitled SPIDER-MAN reboot stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, Julianne Nicholson, Denis Leary and Campbell Scott. Marc Webb is directing the film that will hit theaters on July 3, 2012.
