Jason Clark joins Tom Hardy and Shia LaBeouf in The Wettest County in the World

Jason Clark will be joining the cast of THE WETTEST COUNTY IN THE WORLD along with Jessica Chastain. The pair will join Tom Hardy and Shia LaBeouf in a story about three bootlegging brothers during the time of Prohibition. Hardy and LaBeouf will be playing two of the three siblings but no word on whether or not Jason Clark will be playing the third. It’s quite a coveted part and has had bigger stars attached, such as: Ryan Gosling, Paul Dano and Michael Shannon. It’s possible it could be Clark, but doubtful. Jessica Chastain will come on board as the love interest to Hardy’s character (the part that Amy Adams and Scarlett Johansson were up for at one time) and Mia Wasikowska is still in talks to hop on board but there is still no confirmation.
Shooting is set to start next month so look for the final casting in the next week or so.
