Hugh Jackman will at least present at the Oscars

Although I think James Franco and Anne Hathaway will do a decent job hosting the Academy Awards, I’m still a little bummed that Hugh Jackman wasn’t asked back. Except, turns out he was asked to host this year, but turned it down to work on WOLVERINE, which will be directed by Academy Award nominee Darren Aronofsky (BLACK SWAN).
That’s a bummer, but at least we’ll get to see him present, it’s not as good as getting to see him sing and dance for that opening number but I’ll live. He’ll be joining a slew of other presenters that include: Jeff Bridges, Halle Berry, Sandra Bullock, Marisa Tomei and Oprah Winfrey. The 83rd Annual Academy Awards will be on ABC live from the Kodak Theater on February 27, 2011. Check out the list of 2010 nominees here.
