More photos from Disney's Winnie the Pooh film

Walt Disney Pictures has released some new photos from their upcoming animated feature WINNIE THE POOH. The story follows the simple-minded bear who is always in search of hunny, but goes on a quest with the rest of the gang to discover an imaginary culprit who is wreaking havoc. The film opens in theaters on July 15, 2011.

I think I’ve told you how I don’t care for Winnie the Pooh but when I started looking at this piece of news two things popped out at me. First, I’m surprised that Disney didn’t try to make this film in 3D. It seems like an easy way to update this classic piece that so many people love. And second, Disney is opening this film against HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS: PART 2. Why would any studio do that? I predict this film will be a fail, because who’s going to go see a boring 2D, old school animated film when the newest HP film is coming out. Not me!
