Set photos from The Hobbit

So below are a couple of set photos from the upcoming Peter Jackson film THE HOBBIT and to be quite honest, I don’t think there is anything too exciting to show. However, I know how much my readers are looking forward to their trek back to Middle Earth so I just had to share. Since I’m not familiar with the story, I can’t even wager a guess as to what this set could even be of. So if any of you out there in the ether would like to shed some light on the subject, this writer would be very appreciative.

Shooting for THE HOBBIT PARTS 1 & 2 (they will be filmed back to back) begins at the end of next month and will be released in 2012 and 2013. Casting should be just about wrapping up, so if we have any confirmations or dropouts we’ll let you know as soon as we do.
