New poster for Super starring Rainn Wilson and Ellen Page

It’s been awhile since we’ve heard anything about the James Gunn comedy SUPER which stars Rainn Wilson, Ellen Page, Liv Tyler and Kevin Bacon. The poster has been revealed and I think it’s pretty clever. The story follows an ordinary guy (Wilson) who decides to become a superhero after his wife (Tyler) leaves him for a drug dealer (Bacon). He is soon joined by an eccentric teen (Page) who becomes his sidekick. Together they go around town taking down crime. Nathan Fillion and Linda Cardelliini are also in the film, but I”m not as to what roles they play. SUPER hits theaters on April 1, 2011.

I’m going to say it right here, Rainn Wilson is the best thing about television’s THE OFFICE, and I’m very much looking forward to seeing him as a superhero. Even if he looks like a lame superhero, at least I know there will be some good laughs.
