Director John Hillcoat’s film THE WETTEST COUNTY IN THE WORLD sounds like it’s going to be one of the best movies of next year (not to jump the gun or anything). The film stars: Shia LaBeouf, Tom Hardy, Jessica Chastain, Mia Wasikowska, Guy Pearce, Gary Oldman, Jason Clarke and Dane DeHaan and is based on the novel “The Wettest County” by Matt Bondurant about three brothers set during Prohibition. The film has died in the pre-production stages before, but the photo below is proof that this film is moving forward. There’s no set release date yet, but look for this film to come out sometime next year.
I’m really looking forward to this film because the cast looks so excellent. And even though the photo below is obviously just a set photo, it’s still an exciting look at what’s to come. Plus, how cute are those kids in those newsboys caps?!
