Logan Lerman, Matthew Macfadyen and Orlando Bloom in the new trailer for The Three Musketeers

The new trailer for the upcoming THE THREE MUSKETEERS has been released and it looks more action packed than I remember the book being. The film stars Logan Lerman, Matthew Macfadyen, Luke Evans, Orlando Bloom, Milla Jovovich, Juno Temple, Ray Stevenson and Christoph Waltz and is directed by Paul W.S. Anderson. The movie follows three of the King’s musketeers who team up with a young D’Artagnan (Lerman) to help prevent a double agent from taking over the throne. The film opens in theaters in 3D on October 14, 2011.
I think this trailer makes the story of THE THREE MUSKETEERS a little unbelievable, but I will admit that it does look like it will be fun to watch. Although I’m not sure why Milla Jovovich is kicking butt and sliding around RESIDENT EVIL style- I don’t remember M’lady De Winter being so physical of a character, I know she was tough but this seems a little extreme.
