Jay Baruchel joins Robert Pattinson and Samantha Morton in Cosmopolis

David Cronenberg’s upcoming film COSMOPOLIS has gained another cast member in Jay Baruchel (SHE’S OUT OF MY LEAGUE and THE SORCERER’S APPRENTICE). Baruchel will star alongside Robert Pattinson, Samantha Morton, Paul Giamatti and Juliette Binoche. The film follows a young and successful businessmen (Pattinson) who in the course of day is being stalked, cheats on his wife and looses his entire fortune due to a bad business decision. Baruchel is set to star as the shy guy who has started up the company in which Pattinson works and acts as a sort of conscience to the trader. Shooting is set to start next month in Toronto.
Jay Baruchel can next be seen in the film GOON which he co-wrote and is a comedy about ice hockey and after he wraps that up and COSMOPOLIS he will lend his voice for the sequel HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2.
