Kevin Durand will protect Robert Pattinson in Cosmopolis

It won’t be too much longer before David Cronenberg’s newest thriller COSMOPOLIS goes in front of cameras so it’s no surprise that casting is still going on but most likely wrapping up soon. Today the latest actor to board the film is Kevin Durand (I AM NUMBER FOUR and X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE) who will play the head of security to the young millionaire (Robert Pattinson) who has the worst day ever (as in he cheats on his wife, is pursued by a stalker and loses his entire fortune). In addition to Bob Patty, Durand will join Paul Giamatti, Juliette Binoche, Samantha Morton and Jay Baruchel. Filming is set to start sometime soon in Toronto and New York.
The more I hear about COSMOPOLIS the more I intrigued I become. Plus, I’m still interested to see how Robert Pattinson holds up in a thriller type of situation, I just hope he doesn’t brood too much in this film.
