The marketing campaign for the upcoming superhero film GREEN LANTERN has definitely had it’s ups and downs. The first trailer was poorly received and even the studio admitted that it was bad, then a newer and longer trailer/mini- featurette was revealed and it really didn’t look so bad, and then there are these photos. Don’t get me wrong, Ryan Reynolds is a good looking guy and definitely has the body to wear the Green Lantern uni-tard, but as my eyes slowly ascend and take in the logo and green ring, they land on the Green Lantern’s feet. It’s a little creepy seeing his webbed toes and makes me think they should have opted for the neon green boots instead of the Aquaman inspired flippers. But hey, that’s just me.

THE GREEN LANTERN stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard and Mark Strong. Martin Campbell is directing the film which hits theaters on June 17th.
