Mickey Rourke apologizes to Megan Fox and for slamming Passion Play

Not surprisingly there’s a little backpedaling and damage control from the Mickey Rourke camp today as he apologizes to co-star Megan Fox and his buddy Mitch Glazer who directed the upcoming film PASSION PLAY. Rourke stated, “I was at a party. It was loud and crowded, I was in a sh$tty mood… Mitch is one of my best friends since we were kids. I loved working with him and would do it again tomorrow. I don’t know why I said that stupid sh$t. I love Mitch, I love Megan. My bad.” Although I personally appreciated the honesty from Mr. Rourke, his friends and co-workers did not so it’s nice that he apologized and owned up to what he said. Not a lot of actors would have made an apology statement and may have just blamed the reporter for “misquoting” them. Although, notice how he didn’t apologize for his role in the film 13- he probably still thinks it’s a pretty terrible film.
Check out the high definition trailer for the film PASSION PLAY which hits theaters as a limited release on May 6, 2011.
