Emile Hirsch joins Taylor Kitsch and Blake Lively in Savages

SAVAGES in one of those ensemble, highly publicized films that has so many characters and so many parts to cast that it becomes tiring keeping up with all the announcements. Just yesterday, we told you that John Travolta, Uma Thurman and Blake Lively had joined the cast and today we learn that Emile Hirsch will be starring in the film as well. We don’t know what role he’ll have in the film since the the two main roles have already gone to Taylor Kitsch and Aaron Johnson. But Hirsch seems big on playing the quirky supporting characters, so I’m sure it will be creative, whatever role it might be.

With many more roles left to be cast, Oliver Stone now has Taylor Kitsch, Aaron Johnson, John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Blake Lively, Salma Hayek, Benicio Del Toro and now Emile Hirsch. And it seems he’s just getting warmed up. The film is about two successful drug dealers and the free spirited friend that get recruited by a powerful cartel. When they refuse, the cartel kidnaps their friend and in order to pay the ransom, the duo rob from the very cartel they’re trying to pay.
