A few new photos have been released for the upcoming romantic film ONE DAY starring Jim Sturgess, Anne Hathaway, Patricia Clarkson and Ken Stott and directed by Lone Scherfig. The story is about a guy and girl (Sturgess and Hathaway) who get together on the same day every year, for twenty years since their one night stand in college. It sounds very reminiscent of BEFORE SUNRISE, as in that romantic surreal feeling of being in love but for a limited time. Aww. Anyway, still no trailer posted on the internet but expect one soon as this film is set to hit theaters on July 8, 2011.
I’m a sucker for a good romantic film but they seem to be a rare thing these days. With all the romantic comedies rolling out it’s tough to find a nice romance that you just want to curl up on the couch and immerse yourself in.
