Logan Lerman, Milla Jovovich and Luke Evans in new photos from The Three Musketeers

A couple more photos have been released for the upcoming reboot of THE THREE MUSKETEERS starring Logan Lerman, Luke Evans, Matthew Macfadyen, Ray Stevenson, Christoph Waltz, Milla Jovovich and Orlando Bloom. I wish I could tell you they are new, original and something completely cool and unexpected, but they are none of those things. In fact, one of them looks so staged I can’t tell if I’ve actually seen it before or if I’ve just imagined the whole thing. The film is being directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and hits theaters on October 14, 2011 in 3D.

I really like the story of The Three Musketeers but I just can’t get excited for this film. The trailer makes it look just so over the top that it just feels like another mediocre action film. I’m going to try and give Paul W.S. Anderson the benefit of the doubt, but if I have to be honest I’m not really the target audience for his past films so this isn’t looking so good for me.
