First look at Tom Hardy as Bane and set photos from The Dark Knight Rises

If you haven’t scrolled to the bottom to check out the image, then let me first warn you that the last set photo is not very exciting as far a most movies are concerned. If you have scrolled down, are disappointed, and want to see how I’m justifying including it, then let me explain. As you may or may not know, there are a few people that are excited for Christopher Nolan’s third Batman film, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. And those few people would be upset if they found out there were set photos of any type and they didn’t know about it. So with that in mind, I bring you a blurry, green screen puddle in the middle of India.
The photo comes from the FaceBook page of The Dark Knight Rises Community (which also features some blogging about what they’re seeing in India) and they hypothesize that this green screen (which will be replaced with CGI) is probably Ra’s al Ghul’s Lazarus Pit, which has rejuvenating powers. Of course, this is all fun speculation and it could be a giant McDonald’s that Batman stops at to grab a bite to eat for all we know. Oh yeah, there’s also a couple of fan pictures taken of a bulked up Tom Hardy as Bane. Come to think of it, I probably should have led with that picture…
