The Final Destination 5 trailer is so scary, it's hilarious

When the first FINAL DESTINATION film came out in 2000, I actually enjoyed it. Sure it came out at a time where everyone was trying to find the next SCREAM, but for what it was, I had a good time. The subsequent films have been at various levels of ridiculousness, but FINAL DESTINATION 5 basically shreds any ounce of dignity the franchise had and is now just having fun. Which could actually work in its favor. It’s clear from the trailer they’re just trying to find things that freak people out and then have their characters die from those very things. If you haven’t had PRK/Lasik surgery yet, but are seriously considering it, I wouldn’t even bother with this trailer. Trust me, because they covered the freakishness of the surgery spot on.
The film stars Nicholas D’Agosto, Emma Bell, David Koechner, Tony Todd and Miles Fisher. Steven Quale is directing the film that hits theaters everywhere on August 12th. Check out the new poster and then watch the trailer below.
