Mickey Rourke, Christopher Walken and Colin Farrell are Seven Psychopaths

Mickey Rourke, Christopher Walken, Colin Farrell (who can be seen next in FRIGHT NIGHT) and Sam Rockwell are all teaming up with director Martin McDonagh for a story about dog-napping. With this kind of cast, is there really any need to elaborate on the plot? The film is called SEVEN PSYCHOPATHS and is about a screenwriter (Farrell) who hatches a plan to kidnap a dog and then enlists the help of his two friends (Walken and Rockwell). Rourke will play a gangster that has lost his dog. So even though we don’t have many more details than that, I have to admit that the very basic premise, with this cast has me officially intrigued.
Colin Farrell and writer/director Martin McDonagh worked together in IN BRUGES, which was quirky and dark in its own right. But the potential mix of comedy and drama in SEVEN PSYCHOPATHS might even exceed Bruges. The only question is; who are the “seven psychopaths”?
