Tom Hardy looks angry in another image from The Wettest County in the World

So far, we’ve really only seen blurry, unauthorized images from John Hillcoat’s drama THE WETTEST COUNTY IN THE WORLD. In other words, nothing that would have us too thrilled about a film with a cast that includes Tom Hardy, Shia LaBoeuf, Jason Clarke, Jessica Chastain, Mia Wasikowska, Guy Pearce and Gary Oldman. But today we get a look at what appears to be a more “official” image from the film featuring Tom Hardy firing a gun. Yeah, I know it’s not much, but at least it’s something.

Wettest County is about a trio of brothers (Hardy, LaBoeuf, Clarke) bootlegging during prohibition days. The film was recently picked up by The Weinstein Company, so you know what that means; Oscar buzz galore. The film is scheduled to be released in the fall, so expect to hear a lot about this as awards season starts up.
