Jennifer Lawrence will go straight from Hunger Games to Sweet Tea

Is there a hotter (as in career, not looks) actress out there right now than Jennifer Lawrence? This time two years ago, no one even knew who she was and after WINTER’S BONE, she’s grabbed the role of Mystique in X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, starred with Mel Gibson in THE BEAVER and of course, has a little film coming out called THE HUNGER GAMES. We’ve seen a lot of new actors over the years get critical acclaim for a role and then not be able to do anything with it, but J-Law (I want that to stick) has taken full advantage of her current status. Young, successful actors and actresses should take note and then should probably give her agent a call. But anyway, next up for Lawrence is Sissy Spacek’s directorial debut SWEET TEA.

Regarding the film, Lawrence said “It’s a drama but it’s kind of a down south love story drama, about a mother who gets married young and meets another man and starts thinking that maybe she made a mistake.” Sounds like pretty deep stuff, but Lawrence has proved she can handle it. As the title suggests, she’ll only have a week or two off before she goes from THE HUNGER GAMES set to the set of SWEET TEA.
